When there are extra evening hours, do the fireworks still go off at 9 pm or are they moved to a later time.

    Hi Bernadine,

How exciting to know you will be enjoying a magical vacation this coming December and able to celebrate the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.

Mickey wants to celebrate will all Guests in a special event. Held on select nights in Magic Kingdom Park, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is an incredible event that you cannot miss. And Epcot invites celebrity narrators to retell the story of Christmas, accompanied by an incredible choir and orchestra, in Candlelight Processional. The best way to experience it is by combining it with a meal and booking a Candlelight Dining Package. Keep an eye to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements on when you can start booking reservations.

One of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits is Extra Magic Hours, when at least one Theme Park opens earlier, or closes later. Now, all scheduled fireworks or nighttime specials such as IllumiNations: Reflections from Earth, or Happily Ever After, are held during regular hours.

One last tip: remember to book any advanced dining reservations up to 180 days before arrival. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
