For the extra $99 DVC 2026 Membership Magic, does the 30-day Memory Maker benefit apply to Disneyland or only to Disney World? I’m trying to decide whether the paid perk is worth it for our December 2026 visit.

Hi Angela, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! I see you’re asking about the Membership Magic Beyond enhanced benefit package that Disney Vacation Club has brought back for 2026. The specifics of how each of these benefits apply to visits at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the Beach Resorts vary, so let’s dive into your specific question to see if we can get things straightened out!

According to the Membership Magic Beyond website, the 30-day Memory Maker entitlement only applies to visits at Walt Disney World. Here’s some further details on the Memory Maker entitlement. Once you download your first photo from either the Disney PhotoPass website or from the My Disney Experience app, the 30-day period starts. You’ll have the ability to download all photos associated with your account and photos from those within your Friends & Family list that have provided you access to their photos.

If you’re visiting Disneyland, there are specific Membership Magic Beyond benefits that apply to those Resort stays. First, you’ll have access to specially priced Disneyland tickets. According to this informational flyer from DVC, you can save up to $177 per ticket on a 3-day park ticket. The best part of this deal is that it also includes Lightning Lane Multi-Pass! As you may know, at Disneyland, Lightning Lane Multi-Pass also includes downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos from attractions and from in-park photographers.

Second, you’ll also have priority access to Star View Station - A Member Lounge located at Disneyland. Having that priority access, especially during a busy park day (like December visits often are!) can be worth it. Lastly, you’ll also have access to bonus One-Time-Use Points. If you’re like me, we’re constantly using all of our Vacation Points and find ourselves borrowing or purchasing extra points to extend our stays at DVC Resorts.

Angela, hope this gives you a better understanding of some of the amazing benefits Membership Magic Beyond provides and if it will work for your future visit! If you have any further questions on this or any vacation planning advice, please do not hesitate to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
