What is the extra cost for kids clubs onboard the Dream? We will be on our first cruise ever & would like more information on where the kids can stay & do while we have a little quiet time. You have to reserve in advance? Kids will be 8 & 6 1/2

    Hi there, Greg!

It is with a big smile that I tell you ... NO extra cost!! Your cruise payment includes unlimited activity time for your children, contingent upon the hours of each Club (the exception is for the under-three set; those who use the It's a Small World Nursery will incur a small per-hour fee).

At ages 8 and 6-1/2, your children will love the Oceaneer Club and the Oceaneer Lab, both located on Deck Five, Midship. In these play spaces, children ages 3-10 can make friends, play games, design crafts, dress up, create art, explore music, perform science experiments, bake cookies. meet characters, and make memories, all under the watchful eyes of the incredible staff of the Youth Activities Team.

You'll find a variety of scheduled events and free playtime in the daily Navigator. It's been my family's experience, however, that my children just want to GO THERE, regardless of activities. One day, Greg, we literally did not see out children for twelve hours. Talk about that quiet time you crave!

Before you sail, you will need to register your children for the Clubs. Just visit your personal planning center, accessible with your reservation number. Signing them up allows the cruise staff to ensure that there is adequate space for all of the smaller passengers, and that the ratio of counselors to children is maintained. During this process, you will also establish a sign-out password, and provide the names of adults who are able to sign your children in and out of the Clubs. Security is paramount, and I'm sure you will appreciate the levels of watchfulness you'll find aboard.

Please let me know how I can further assist as you prepare for the journey of a lifetime!

    Bon voyage!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
