Yo Ho, Yo Ho, Pamela!
It's a pirate's life for me! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sailing by with your question. How exciting that you have set a course to stay at
Disney's Vero Beach Resort. This special Disney Vacation Club property is a real treasure, as you get to enjoy the relaxing experience of surf and sun while being immersed in the magic of Disney. It's the best of both worlds!
Pamela, I spoke with a Cast Member at Disney's Vero Beach Resort about the exterior renovations planned for 2026. While she was unable to confirm what specifically would be happening a year from now, she noted that currently, the porch doors for all of the rooms located in the Inn area are being replaced.
From time to time, Disney will update and upkeep the exterior parts of the Resort to keep it sparkling, up to date, and refreshed to ensure the
best Guest experience. But, rest assured, they don't do everything at once. They will group together areas of the Resort to work on, and once that section is complete, they will move to another section in an effort to minimize Guest impact.
While Guests staying nearer to renovation areas may hear some noises or see renovations or construction being done, it is typically limited to 9 am to 5 pm, or the daytime working hours, and will not take place at night when Guests are sleeping. Disney tries to place Guests in rooms away from construction areas, to the extent it is possible, depending on capacity at any given time.
I have been at Walt Disney World resorts when construction or refurbishments are happening. In my experience, while you may see a bit or hear a little of the noise, it has never disrupted our vacation in any way.
I hope this helps you, Pamela! If you have any further Disney vacation questions, surf back here to see me, and I'll help you find the treasure that you seek.
See ya real soon!
