Ahoy Cheryl!
I'm thrilled to hEAR you'll be cruising on the Disney Wonder-it's my favorite ship! The atmosphere on a Disney cruise is pure ELECTRIC with excitement. That's probably thanks to the enthusiastic Cast Members and the fun-loving Disney characters. I really get a CHARGE from being on deck for the
Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave Party! and seeing all the New Orleans-themed venues like
Tiana's Place and the
French Quarter Lounge on the
Disney Wonder!
Disney Cruise Line does a great job of letting guests know what items are OK to bring onboard and which ones are not shipshape. For safety reasons,
extension cords are not allowed nor are power strips or surge protectors. Not knowing exactly what type of device yours is, I will try my best to give you guidance. If you have a standard USB charger into which phones and readers can plug into for charging, then that is perfectly acceptable. But if your device has outlets for plugging in other appliances like hair dryers or computers, then that is NOT allowed.
Here's a BRIGHT IDEA: The Disney Wonder has built-in USB ports added to the stateroom outlets, so perhaps all you will need for charging is a simple phone cable. If you bring a USB port from home, make sure it does not exceed 110V which is the maximum capability of the outlets.
If this SPARKS other questions, then feel free to send them to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a WONDERful cruise!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
