Hi Eleonora, thanks for stopping by planDisney! Extending a stay sounds like just the right amount of extra magic every visit needs. I can help guide you to the best ways to extend your stay.
The
Walt Disney World Theme Parks are so much fun I always want to add on an extra week but my budget and employer always tell me it's not an option. Maybe I should try your method first, just one day. While there are a couple of different ways to add an extra day to your current Florida resident one-day park pass. The easiest for me to recommend is using the
My Disney Experience App, you can go to the "My Account" section. Once you are there you can search for the tab that says "Tickets and Passes" when you find your ticket there is a "Change Ticket" button with a pencil on it. This is where you can make changes to your ticket type. Of course, there will be an increase in your cost but you may be able to use one of the special Florida resident discounts.
If you aren't completely comfortable using the app there are two other ways. When you visit on your park day you can visit one of the Ticket Booths to purchase another day. But I would advise just to
call Walt Disney World if you don't feel comfortable using the online options. In this link, you will find the number for "Existing Tickets" give them a call and a cast member will be waiting to help extend your stay. You will want to take care of this to ensure the park you would like to visit has park reservations available. Use the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar to verify your date has availability then you can purchase the extra tickets.
I really hope your extra day is everything you want it to be, and that this information made it easier to make that purchase. Come on back for any tips or planning advice to

See ya real soon!
