Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise!
Hearing you say you’ve extended your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is music to my ears! Adding extra days to a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is always a good idea, and I’m so pleased you’ll have one more day in the magic. Hurray!
Denise, according to my calculations, your calculations are correct. With a 14-day theme park ticket, if you plan to enter a park every day starting on the 17th of August, your 14th day would be the 30th of August.
Here’s the great news: there are so many wonderful things you can do outside the theme parks! My family always plans a rest day in the middle of our visit – we might take in a
character breakfast and then spend time splashing in and lounging by our
resort hotel pool, and then spend time exploring, shopping, and snacking in
Disney Springs. There’s also miniature golf and the
Disney Water Parks. Just be sure to check the terms and conditions of your specific type of ticket so you know when the expiry date is, as many ticket types expire 14 days after the first use. If that’s the case, maybe you could spend a quiet day on your first or last day at Walt Disney World!
Have so much fun on your extra-long holiday, Denise! As you plan and dream for your visit, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and trip-planning advice. If you think of any further questions, please come back and see us - it's always a pleasure to help a fellow Guest!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
