Our extended family of 18 will be traveling together for Disney and we purchased a Memory Maker package to share. However, we only received one ID card. Does each family among our group need an ID card, or is this loaded on our bracelets?

    Hello Shelly!

Now that sounds like a magical family reunion! Being able to share Memory Maker with family is an awesome deal, and you'll love reliving the memories when you go through your pictures when you return home. For me, it's a way to get over my post-Disney sadness.

Not everyone needs to have the Memory Maker card. Everyone whose photos you want included need to be connected through My Disney Experience as Friends and Family to the Guest who purchased Memory Maker. To view and download your friend and family members’ photos, please ask them to sign in to their Disney account and set photo sharing permissions using the Family & Friends page in their Profile. On their Family & Friends list, they can locate the Guest they want to share photos with and select “Edit” to access the photo sharing control.

Once you are all connected, then whenever any of you see a Disney PhotoPass location—or select attraction and dining locations—simply ask the photographer or Cast Member to link the photos to your Disney account with a touch of your MagicBand or card—including Memory Maker cards and Disney PhotoPass Cards. The attraction photos should automatically link to your MagicBand.

If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Don't forget to say, "Mickey!" for the camera. Have a fantastical grand gathering!
