    I have an extended family I would like to stay inside disney although every resort I look at we exceed the limit per rooms I have 7 adults and 4 children the children all sleep with their mothers so I need 2 rooms only I believe {maximum of 5 beds}

    Keeping in mind that Disney counts heads, not beds, you have several choices when it comes to accommodations for a large family at WDW:

    If you have an infant that will sleep in a crib, Disney will not count that child in your room count. That may help six of you fit in a room (albeit very tight) with two double beds and a trundle at Port Orleans Riverside. That leaves the other five in another trundle room. FYI: the trundles are really just for kids. Leave the beds for the adults!

    If you don't have a child that would sleep in a crib, your next most economical option are two family suites at All-Star Music. They come with a bedroom, a sleeper sofa, and a large chair and ottoman that make out into comfortable cots, similar to the feel of a hotel roll-away. I prefer these rooms because they come with two bathrooms, a microwave and small refrigerator, not to mention a family living area where you can all gather.

    Next up: the cabins at Ft. Wilderness. Lots of room. Big Kitchen. Plenty of outdoors fun for the family.

    The top of the line are the Grand Villas at the Deluxe Resorts. These offer outstanding accommodations--but at a price.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
