Our extended family of 9 is planning a WDW trip this summer, and are thinking about watching fireworks from the Poly beach on our arrival evening. What locations at Poly serve food to go that we can take to the beach with us?

Hello Alvin!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Watching the fireworks from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a wonderful end to an Endlessly Magical day at Walt Disney World Resort with your extended family.

The main quick-service location (with the most to offer) is Capt. Cook's.  They offer a broad assortment of salads, sandwiches and flatbreads and a variety of snacks and drinks.  Beer and wine are also available.

Kona Island(the Sushi bar, not the Café), offers a blend of sushi and other entrées while also offering sake, wines and other alcoholic spirits to please the palette.

The Barefoot Pool Bar and Oasis Bar & Grill are 2 poolside locations that offer food options in addition to operating as full bars.

Finally, I strongly recommend ordering Dole Whips or Pineapple Floats from Pineapple Lanai.  There is no better way to savor the spectacle of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular than on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort than surrounded by family with delicious Dole Whips in hand.

If your family enjoys the fireworks, the Electric Water Parade makes a stop in front of the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, so you may wish to stick around for the festivities.

    Mahalo!
