My extended family is planning to visit April 2017, and we hope to all stay in one suite. We all have different ticketing needs (5 days MYW package w/dining for my family, 7 days park-only tkts for my parents). Is this possible? How should we book?

    Hi Alison,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. So glad to know you are busy planning a vacation with your extended family. Sounds exciting!

I remember a few years ago a family vacation with my parents, and my sister and her family. We had an amazing time. I still remember my parents with all their grandchildren taking pictures with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's.

When you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, every Guest in the same room will get the same number of days for Theme Park Tickets and Disney Dining Plan options. Your best option is to select the smallest one, and then simply add the additional days on-site, which you can simply do at the Lobby Concierge at your Resort hotel, or at Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the Theme Parks. If some do not need the Disney Dining Plan, your best option would be to book a room-only reservation, purchase Theme Park Tickets separately, and pay out of pocket for meals.

One last tip: you can book dining reservations up to 180 days in advance of your Check-In date. The easiest way is via the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will help you tremendously, not just with this, but at all stages of your vacation. Happy planning!
