Life is the bubbles, Morgan! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question.
The pools at the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels are truly destinations unto themselves. They usually continue the theming of the resort and have some of the best water slides ever! The ultimate pool destination is
Stormalong Bay at
Disney's Beach Club Resort. The entire pool area is like its own self-contained water park. And then there's my favorite pool on property:
The Big Blue Pool at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. It's huge and themed to one of my favorite movies,
Finding Nemo. Needless to say, no matter which resort you choose, you'll have a great time lounging around, splashing like Ariel in the pool, and enjoying some delicious refreshments from the pool bars nearby.
At this time, "pool hopping" is not allowed and day passes are not offered. Each of the pools at the resort hotels can only be accessed by the Guests that are staying there. In fact, you will need your
MagicBand, key card, or the
Disney MagicMobile Service on your phone to scan into the pool areas. It doesn't hurt to confirm this with a Cast Member at the front desk of your resort to see if anything has changed when you visit.
While you may not be able to hang out at each other's pools, you can always spend a day splashing around and experiencing the thrills of one of the
water parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Both
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park offer water slides, poolside lounging, and areas for young kids. Just be sure to check the calendar as both of these parks are not always available at the same time.
Morgan, I hope you and your extended family have a wonderful time at the resort. It's such a special place for a big group to spend time together and make some magical memories. I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with my family and I will never forget it!
Feel free to
reach out again in the future should you have any questions.
Any day spent together is my favorite day,
Matt
