My extended family and I want to go together- about 17 people (9 adults and 8 kids). What's the best, and most cost effective, way of doing this. We will have about a whole day to enjoy at the park.

    Hi there, Noam!

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear that your family is hoping to visit The Happiest Place on Earth together in 2024, Noam. I can't imagine a more magical place for a special family gathering!

At this time, the Disneyland Resort doesn't have any current special offers on theme park tickets for groups of family members or friends, and theme park reservation availability has only been released through mid-December 2023. However, I do recommend keeping an eye on the Offers & Discounts page for any future special offers that may apply to your group and selected date! Sometimes, special offers are released specifically for California or Southern California residents, so I recommend taking advantage of this discount if possible.

Noam, if there are no discounted theme park tickets available for your selected date, the least expensive ticket option will likely be a One Park Per Day standard theme park ticket. However, I do urge you to consider purchasing Park Hopper Tickets if you'll only be visiting for a single day, as this will allow your group to experience all that both theme parks have to offer! At the time of writing, Park Hopper Tickets cost ~$65 more than One Park Per Day tickets (subject to change), but the increased cost is justified, in my opinion. Park hopping between Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park is a quick and easy way to tackle both theme parks in one day!

There are other ways to save on costs and maximize the value of your time in the theme parks, Noam. Did you know that Guests can bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the parks? Otherwise, there are some fantastic and filling budget-friendly quick service dining options in both parks, like Flo's V8 Cafe at Disney California Adventure Park and Bengal Barbecue at Disneyland Park.

I hope you've found these suggestions helpful, Noam. I'm wishing you and your family members a magical and memorable trip to The Happiest Place on Earth! If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
