My extended family is going to DW in Sept. '12 and we'll be under 3 separate reservations and on the dining plan. Will we all receive separate checks for our meals, any additional drinks and gratuity? Thanks

    Hi Blake!

Great question!  The Disney Dining Plan only allows you to redeem meals for those that are on your specific Dining Plan.  So, even when you dine together with your extended family, each Dining Plan represented will receive a separate "check", which will also include charges for any additional drinks, gratuity, etc...

Remember, you can use your Key to the World card to redeem your meals on the Dining Plan.  When you are dining with another party who is also using their Key to the World Card, be sure to notify the server which meals should be redeemed on each card.  You should give your cards to your server when you order dessert.  If you have charging privileges placed on your Key to the World Card, then they can add the additional charges to the cards you specify.

Also, a note about gratuities.  Gratuities are not included in the Disney Dining Plan.  For parties of 6 or more, a gratuity of 18% will be added automatically.

I hope this answers your question!  Have a wonderful time and many delicious meals on your Walt Disney World vacation!
