Hi Carla,
The Biergarten Restaurant is my family's must-do restaurant every single trip. So, you can imagine my delight seeing your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your family is sure to have a wonderful time eating the bountiful buffet of German favorites and dancing to the delightful sounds of the traditional Bavarian entertainment.
This dining location is one of the few that offers "communal" tables, where smaller parties are often combined with others to share a table. I believe all the tables are set for eight people. However, I do remember once recently that they were able to squeeze our large party of ten onto one table since we had little ones. So, I would certainly ask the cast member if this is possible. Just keep in mind that I cannot guarantee this, but it is certainly worth it to ask.
Be sure to try my personal favorite dishes. The spatzle (a dumpling-like pasta) is as good as I had in Germany itself. I also love the cucumber salad and pork schnitzel. There are also kid-friendly items such as macaroni and cheese and roast chicken. The dessert selection is simply scrumptious with traditional apple strudel and black forest cake.
I hope you have the most magical visit. Bon Appetit!
