Greetings, Jimeva, welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations, you will be vacationing at
Disneyland Resort with your extended family, this has always been a big dream of mine! There is so much to see and do at the theme parks and that extends to the
Downtown Disney District as well, how exciting!
It would be a good idea to manage your planning using the
Disneyland Mobile App where you will be able to link all in your travel party, and then depending on what you want to do, you will have the option to select from those people listed in the app.
Here is how to link those in your travel party using their theme park admission:
1. Open the Disneyland Mobile App.
2. On the Home Page tap the three horizontal lines at the bottom to open the next page.
3. You will see a page with many fields, look for the “Link to Account” near the bottom of the page and tap on that.
4. The new page will be titled, “Link to Account” and you will see three sections from which to choose - “Link Tickets or Passes, Link Photos, Link Hotel.” Please select the “Link Tickets or Passes” and then you will be asked to allow access to your device camera to scan the barcode, or you can enter the ID number for each ticket manually. Please select the method you prefer to enter for all 10 tickets including yours.
With a large group, I recommend adding the theme park ticket option called the
Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane service which will save you time waiting in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance. Plus, when you purchase the Disney Genie+ Lighting Lane service, as a perk, you will receive unlimited digital downloads of your
Disney’s PhotoPass® Service attraction photos including the Magic Shots, what a wonderful way to capture all the memories you will make with your extended family.
Tips:
1. Create a group Text Thread for clear communication of general plans and meeting places so everyone can receive the same information.
2. Enjoy a get-together to discuss planning in advance of your arrival and then formalize planning.
3. Don’t forget to make your
Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations in advance of your arrival.
Wishing you all the happiest vacation at Disneyland Resort!
