Hi there, Rebecca. Welcome to planDisney.
I love your question! One of my favorite ways to "plus the magic" is staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel and taking advantage of
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are special events that include their own magical firework shows, character appearances, parades, and festive pixie dust. These events require the purchase of a special event entrance ticket. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are not held on the same night as these events. I'm not sure when you plan to arrive, but as your trip approaches, checking the
Hours & Events Calendar will allow you to see which nights the parties are scheduled and which nights and theme parks offer Extended Evening Hours.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets for the Halloween or Christmas events, I always suggest buying those as soon as you have your plans finalized, as those events are popular and can sell out.
Also, be sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates as the holidays approach. I always look forward to discovering the delicious limited-edition food offerings during the holiday parties and the
International Festival of the Holidays!Rebecca, I hope this helped answer your question. I also want to add the link to the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page in case you haven't made your Deluxe hotel reservation yet. There are some great deals right now, and I hope you'll find something that fits your schedule.
I'm so happy you stopped by, and please know you are welcome here anytime. As fellow Guests like you, we love helping you experience the magic!
Happy planning,
Shonette
