Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Shirlene!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks so much for dropping by with a question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Can you believe that you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few weeks? While it probably felt like the anticipation was never going to end, now your vacation is going to be here before you know it!
As you're checking items off your last-minute planning to-do list, be sure to open up the
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap on "Future Plans", and check to make sure that you've made your
Disney Park Pass reservations for each day of your visit. Remember, you'll need both a theme park reservation and valid admission for each day that you plan to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. Since reservation availability is limited, I would hate for you to arrive and find that reservations for the park you were planning to attend were unavailable. Once you've confirmed that those reservations are all set, you'll be all ready to go when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.
As part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel get to enjoy a little extra time in the parks with the
Early Theme Park Entry and the
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefits. While all Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel are welcome to take advantage of 30 extra minutes in the park each morning, Extended Evening Hours are only open to Guests staying in the Deluxe Resort hotels and Deluxe Villas. If this includes you, you'll be able to check in with designated Cast Members at the park that evening by scanning your MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass. After that, you'll be free to enjoy a few extra hours in EPCOT alongside your Deluxe Resort neighbors.
Just keep in mind that either of these extended hours benefits will require you to have valid park admission, as well as a Disney Park Pass reservation, for the park you choose to enter. However, if you plan to enjoy Extended Evening Hours and your ticket includes the
Park Hopper option, you won't need to make an additional reservation if EPCOT is your second park of the day. You'll simply need to make sure you've tapped into your first park before heading over to EPCOT after 2 PM –– once that's been done, you'll be good to go.
I hope this helped to answer your question, Shirlene, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney. If you think of new planning questions before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, please feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
