Hi Larry,
Welcome to planDisney! We are delighted to hEAR that you have an upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Extending your stay should be relatively easy if there is availability for the nights you wish to add. If you have not done so already,
link your resort hotel reservation in your
My Disney Experience account using the confirmation number that should have been sent to you via email. Once linked, you may be able to log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, scroll down to your reservation information, and change that resort hotel reservation. If you cannot modify the reservation online, you can also
contact a Cast Member by phone to get assistance with making those changes.
Be sure to check the
Special Offers first to see if there are any available offers that are applicable to the dates of your visit. If you had a Special Offer when making the first reservation, be aware that it might not be available for the additional nights. If the additional nights are not available when you first check, I do advise you to keep checking. Availability can change since cancelations do happen.
In looking at your arrival date, I hope you made some
advanced dining reservations. On our last two visits, we have been incredibly happy to have advanced dining reservations. The parks and resorts were quite busy and although we could do
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, it was a relief to have a guaranteed time to eat.
Larry, I trust that you made
Disney Park Pass system reservations. You will need a park pass reservation for each day that you have valid theme park admission. Keep your eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar and be sure to check that calendar before canceling any park pass reservations to try to make new ones.
Happy Planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
