I want to extend my park pass

Hi, Cindy! Thanks for stopping by to see us here at planDisney! It sounds like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to start, so let's make sure you're ready for the magic!

Okay, I think you're either asking about extending the dates of your Walt Disney World tickets or Annual Pass, or using the Disney Park Pass service. I'll touch on both, but if you had a different question, you might want to call Walt Disney World's Guest Services number to ask in person. All right then, here we gooooo!

The only thing better than a few days at Walt Disney World is a few more days at Walt Disney World! If you decide you want to add additional days to your vacation, you can upgrade your Theme Park tickets as long as you still have unused days on them. For example, if you originally purchased 3-Day tickets and find that you need a couple more days to do all the amazing things you want to do, you can add those days by upgrading to 5-Day tickets. That will save you some money over buying new tickets, since the more days you have on your tickets, the less it costs per day. Again, you'll need to have at least one unused day left on your original ticket purchase to upgrade, so be sure to do this before you enter a Theme Park on your last day. You can visit your Resort hotel concierge, one of the Guest Services locations at the Theme Park entrances, or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to complete your upgrade.

If you want to renew an Annual Pass, you can do that online through your My Disney Experience account or in person at Guest Relations anytime during the renewal window, which is 60 days before and 30 days after the Annual Pass expiration date.

Finally, the Disney Park Pass system is a way for Guests to reserve a day in a specific Theme Park. You just need a valid ticket and a My Disney Experience account. Once you're all squared away, go to the Disney Park Pass page, create your party, select the date and Park you plan to visit, and hit "Confirm." Just follow the same procedure for the rest of your vacation, and you're all set!

Cindy, I hope I was able to answer your question. I wish you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and please do pop in again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
