Gillian, I can understand your desire to plan ahead and maximize the magic during your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth (I'm the same way!), however, park hours and attraction closures are not released until about six weeks out. I encourage you to check the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website as your visit gets just a little bit closer. The Hours & Events Calendar is an incredibly helpful resource, not only for providing park hours and attraction closures but also includes an entertainment schedule to confirm which nighttime spectaculars will be showing, as well as the events occurring during your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific dates and park at the top. That said, it's important to know that the schedule can change at any time.
Lastly, let's chat about the
Lightning Lane Single Pass. If you're hoping to experience either (or both!) Radiator Springs Racers at California Adventure Park or
Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park using Lightning Lane Single Pass, these can only be purchased on the day of your visit. To do this click on the ☰ at the bottom right of the screen in the
Disneyland app and select "Purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass" under the blue Single Pass banner. Scroll down to locate the attraction you'd like to purchase Lightning Lane for, which in your case sounds like Rise of the Resistance. You should see the time available and cost there with the attraction name. I recommend selecting a return time for after 11am, so you can enjoy the low wait times at other attractions in the morning first. Rise of the Resistance is an attraction like none other - and an absolute favorite for one of my boys! I can understand your desire to experience it! May the force be with you!
