    Can you explore the Disney's Art of Animation Resort or any other Disney Resort if you are staying at a non-Disney hotel?

    Hi Cynthia, 

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

    Yes, you can absolutely visit Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or any other Resort, even if you aren’t staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Some of my favourite restaurants and food courts are located in the Resorts and I’ve spent afternoons just going from place to place, visiting my favourites. 

    If you plan to drive to a Resort, simply tell the security guard at the front entrance what you plan to do and how long you plan to stay. After a quick check of your photo i.d., you should be good to go!
