Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite events, so I'm thrilled you asked your question. Let's get to decking those halls, shall we?
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is held select nights from November 8 through December 22. During your trip, it will be held November 17, 19 and 20, and it looks like tickets are still available for all three dates. If this is something you're interested in, please don't hesitate to get your tickets because they can sell out at any time.
On these nights, Magic Kingdom closes at 6 PM for regular day Guests, and a party ticket is needed beyond that time. The party lasts from 7 PM until midnight, and your party ticket allows for entry beginning at 4 PM, giving you time to ride a few rides or grab a bite to eat before the party officially begins. I usually use this time to do things that aren't special for the party so I can focus on festive fun later.
So much is included in your party ticket. There are special character greetings, complimentary cookies and very merry drinks like apple cider and hot cocoa and special entertainment throughout the park.
Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration is a fun stage show right in front of Cinderella Castle held at various times throughout the night. There's also a holiday parade held two times,
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Many people like to wait for the second one as prime viewing along the parade route is often easier to find later in the evening.
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks aren't to be missed. I can't imagine anything getting you more in the holiday spirit than that.
Most rides are open as well, and some even have holiday overlays.
Space Mountain was almost like an entirely different experience when I went. I hope they bring that overlay back again this year.
If this is within your budget, I highly recommend it. I will also be attending one of the parties in November. If I'm visiting when they are being held, I never miss it.
Also happening during your trip is
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's also a special ticketed event. During your trip, it's happening on November 16 and 21. It also has special entertainment and
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks. The vibe is more Hollywood glam, but you'll still find unique character greetings and shows only for party-goers. Most rides are available, too.
