Howdy, Donna!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Finding your way around Walt Disney World can seem difficult, but with some help from the Disney Parks Moms Panel and your My Disney Experience app, you can get to and from with ease!
The Monorail has three rail lines, The Express Line that travels from the Ticket and Transportation System to the Magic Kingdom with no stops, the Resort Monorail loop that makes a stop at each Resort, the Ticket and Transportation System, and the Magic Kingdom, and the Epcot Monorail loop that takes you from the Ticket and Transportation System to Epcot.
The best way to get from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Boardwalk, other than taking a taxi or Uber, is to take a bus from the Magic Kingdom to any of the Boardwalk resorts, such as Disney's Boardwalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, or The Swan and Dolphin. The ride could take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and the wait time to board the bus. Taking the Epcot Monorail will drop you off in Future World, and you would need to walk through Future World to World Showcase and exit at the International Gateway.
Plus you would need to have a park ticket to enter Future World in Epcot.
To get to Disney's Animal Kingdom, take a bus from any of the Boardwalk resort. The ride can take up to 20 minutes.
Donna, be sure to keep your
My Disney Experience app handy on your mobile device. You can enter your location and destination, and it will provide the most concise directions on getting around Walt Disney World!
