    Can you explain the monorail routes to me? I've heard about a resort monorail, the TTC, and a monorail going to Epcot, but I'm not sure which ones go where. Last trip we just used the buses and I'd like to check out the monorail on this trip! Thx much!!

    Hi Rebecca,

    The Monorails are a super cool way to travel - my boys love them (okay - me too)!

    There are 3 Monorail lines:

    The Resort Monorail which makes stops at the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC), the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort, the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort (in that order).  You do not have to be a Guest at a resort to take advantage of this line.  Its a great way to take a break from the Magic Kingdom and go to one of the resorts for lunch or dinner.  You can also hop aboard and visit each resort.

    The Express Monorail goes from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom and then returns back to TTC.  It does not stop at any of the resorts.

    The Epcot Monorail goes from TTC to Epcot and then returns back to TTC.  It is about a 10 minute ride from TTC to Epcot.   Guests staying at a resort along the Resort Monorail line will need to get off at TTC and walk the short distance to the Epcot Monorail to travel to Epcot.

    There is no other way to travel like on a Disney Monorail - enjoy!  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
