How do I use my expired e ticket? Can I use it towards a new ticket online?

Hi Arlene, welcome to planDisney! I have good news – you have some flexibility built into your Disneyland Resort theme park ticket. Let's get into it!

Arlene, Disneyland Resort theme park tickets have an expiration date, after which they are no longer valid for park admission. However, wholly unused theme park tickets (excluding special event tickets) can be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. You can do this by visiting an on-site ticket booth or calling the Tickets phone line. Remember that a separate theme park reservation for the new date will be required for park entry.

If you had a multi-day theme park ticket that was partially used, there isn't much flexibility regarding what can be done with any unused days. If this is the case, you may want to contact Guest Relations to discuss possible solutions.

This is a great year to visit the Disneyland Resort, Arlene. The 70th Anniversary Celebration is underway, and there is a festive atmosphere throughout the Resort! You'll love all the entertainment offerings, delicious food and drink options, and wide selection of merchandise. If I had to pick my top three experiences (which is hard to do), I'd recommend the Paint the Night parade, the World of Color Dessert Party, and Wondrous Journeys (especially in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle).

There are a few other ways to sprinkle pixie dust onto your plans. Consider going on a guided tour – A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort is a two-hour experience that comes with some extra perks, like reserved viewing of the Paint the Night parade. The Key to Disneyland is another great way to see more of the park, and you can purchase it from many retail locations. There are nine different stations where you'd insert the key to unlock interactive features, like music and bubbles. Once you visit each station, a prize will reveal itself!

Arlene, I wish you many magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, please let us know. We're always glad to help!

Sending pixie dust and happy thoughts your way,
    Kriss
