Welcome to planDisney, Lauren!
I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. I’m happy to help you discover the perfect vacation on land or sea.
The current rule is that
theme park tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. You can apply your unused but expired tickets to new Walt Disney World theme park tickets.
Guest Services would be more than happy to help you with this transaction. While you can’t use your ticket credit towards a Disney Cruise, I have a few money-saving tips when you’re ready to book your cruise.
I always check the
Special Offers page on the
Disney Cruise Line website. There are some sailings where you could save up to 35%. These discounts change frequently, and new discount dates are added weekly. If you are a
Disney+ subscriber, the third and fourth guests on some sailings sail free. It’s an incredible deal!
Another option is to look for “Guaranteed” staterooms. I just booked this category for an Alaskan cruise. You don’t get to select a specific stateroom number, but instead, you choose a stateroom category. For example, I selected “Guaranteed Verandah Stateroom.” I’m guaranteed a cabin at this level. The stateroom will be assigned closer to the sail date. I have been very happy with “Guaranteed” staterooms. It's a great option if you don't mind waiting for your stateroom number.
Lauren, my friends at planDisney are ready to assist you with Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or my beloved Disney Cruise Line whenever you’re ready.
Happy Planning,
Tracie
