Welcome to planDisney, Sharon.
Oh, bother! I'm so sorry that you had to make the not-so-magical decision to cancel your trip. I hope you and your loved ones are well. Hopefully, it won't be long until you're able to make it to
Walt Disney World. You've got plenty of time left to experience and enjoy
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Mickey looks rather dapper in his EARidescent outfit and I'm sure he can't wait until you
come and see him.
But let's get to your great question. There is an expiration date for unused Theme Park tickets. The way to discover when they expire is rather simple: Sign in to your
My Disney Experience account, make sure your tickets are linked, and you should be able to see the expiration date. If you don't think you'll be able to use your tickets before they expire, Hakuna Matata! You'll be glad to know, Sharon, that the value of any unused Theme Park tickets can be applied to any future tickets (you'll just have to pay any difference in price).
I hope that feels like a weight off your shoulders. In the meantime, if you'd like any ideas for your future trip, my fellow planDisney friends and I recently
shared some of our thoughts.
I'd also highly recommend staying at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Sometimes people stay off-site to save money. In fact, I've done this a couple of times myself. However, what you sometimes save in money, you lose when it comes to time, convenience, customer service, and overall enjoyment. The amazing practical
benefits to staying at a Disney Resort, along with the unique theming and world-class customer service, really serves to immerse you in the magic of Disney for your entire trip.
Think happy thoughts, Sharon. May all your Disney dreams come true. TTFN, ta-ta for now.
Mike
