Hi there, Fred. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am sorry to hear of the illness changing your plans and I’m happy to help you figure out how to reschedule your trip.
The good news is
tickets typically have a long life to provide flexibility when plans need to change. For instance,
tickets purchased in 2022 do not expire until January 12, 2024 (with some exceptions, like the Southern California Resident ticket offers.)
To cancel your current reservations, you can log in to your
Disneyland account and go to “My Disneyland” and “Ticket and Reservation Details.” The reservation is tied to the ticket, but by canceling the reservation, the ticket itself will remain linked to your Disneyland account for future use.
To confirm the exact expiration date of your tickets, you can contact
Ticket Services via phone, or my preferred method, through the “Chat with Us” feature in the
Disneyland mobile app. They will be able to tell you when your tickets expire. I like using the chat feature since I can log my question and be notified once a Cast Member has responded.
Also, I like to point out to Guests that even
unused expired tickets can be applied towards new ticket purchases. So, there really is a great deal of flexibility.
Once you have new dates selected, you can check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and make a new reservation.
Fred, I hope this information was helpful. Wishing you and yours good health so you can return to the magic real soon.
