Hello, Amanda! As a fellow Annual Passholder, I welcome you to planDisney and the Passholder family. I am so glad to hear you have enjoyed your Annual Pass and are thinking about renewing it.
I just went through these questions when my family's
Annual Passes came up for renewal in November. We love having them and all the ways they make enjoying
Walt Disney World Resort possible. We bought them when we were planning trips and knew we would make the most of the benefits, including theme park admission, park hopping, and discounts on dining and shopping. We discovered we use them more than we had planned, like grabbing a dining reservation and heading to
EPCOT on a whim anytime we are anywhere near Orlando. Going to a theme park for just a few hours? We make that work more than we ever thought about when we first became Passholders.
You can
renew your Annual Pass up to 60 days before and 30 days after its expiration date. If you renew your Annual Pass, the start date is the day after your current pass expires. Your renewed pass would expire on 4/22/25, even if you do not return to Walt Disney World Resort until June.
I went to Walt Disney World in January solo for the
runDisney Marathon Weekend. Since I was going to be using it so soon, I decided to renew in November and take advantage of the discounted price for renewals. The next trip with my family is not until later this year. For them, I decided not to renew, and I purchased new passes. With the Annual Pass purchase, their passes will expire one year after they first use them.
If you are going back in June, you may find the discounted rate with a renewal is the best option.
If you decide to renew, you can do this on the
My Disney Experience App or online. As a Florida resident, if you purchase your Annual Pass with the Monthly Payment Program, you will need to
call the Annual Pass number to renew.
No matter how you decide to continue enjoying the magic, I hope a whole new year of Walt Disney World is in your future.
Thinking of the happiest things,
Jana
