In your expert opinion, is the pasta in the park a good choice? We did the breakfast buffet last year and were disappointed. My sons have a dairy allergy and we couldn't eat more than some fruit. I would hate to spend the money if it can be used otherwise.

    Hi, Keri!

I've had the opportunity to experience all the extra magical events that are available during a runDisney race weekend and the Pasta in the Park Party is by far my favorite!

Though the other events are lovely, they do not have the same fun-factor that the Pasta Party does. It's also a lot easier to enjoy yourself without the element of the race along with it. In addition, I think you will find the menu offerings better suited for your princes' dairy allergy. Here is a list of what is generally served.

Pasta with choice of white or red sauce
    Baked chicken
    A variety of cooked vegetables
    A potato dish
Fruit bars and Mickey Ice Cream Bars

I also think your family will have a lot of fun at this event. There will be a DJ playing music and encouraging the children to get up and dance, face painters, character greetings, reserved viewing for Epcot's nighttime spectacular, IllimiNations: Reflections of Earth and you will be able to enter Epcot at 6:00pm, making this event a great value as well. The location of this party is also gorgeous, the World Showplace Pavillon hidden between the United Kingdom and Canada Pavilions - you really will feel like you're attending a private, Disney-hosted party!

I hope this is helpful, Keri! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me again with any additional questions you may have. I am here to help you plan a magical runDisney-cation.
