Can I get your expert opinion on the best pool(s) at WDW? I want to be able to spend one full day at a pool with lots to do like water slides, lazy river, music, etc. in lieu of a park day. So your best rated pool for kids 4 & 11? Thanks!

Hi, Gina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having researched this myself for an upcoming stay with the family, I would say that the best pool of any Walt Disney World Resort hotel would have to be Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. These two Deluxe Disney Resort hotels share this wonderful aquatic oasis that includes a sand bottom pool, a lazy river and one of the longest waterslides at Walt Disney World Resort! If you are looking to stay at a Moderate Resort, then I would personally suggest Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. There is a water play area as well as a wonderfully themed Spanish Fort pool, with a waterslide and hot tub, of course! For a Value Resort, my pick, hands down is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The Big Blue Pool is the largest at Walt Disney World Resort and features underwater speakers! There is also a colorful and fun play area for your younger sea turtle!

I hope this helps you in your decision making, and remember that Walt Disney World Resort is also home to two splashtacular Water Parks! Have a magical day,
