Have experienced Disney Magic at DL and DL Resort Hotel for past several summers. But now planning our first visit to WDW this June. What resorts would you recommend for family of four with 5 and 7 year olds?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ambrose!

I'm thrilled to learn you are planning your first east coast magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!  Ambrose, did you know the Walt Disney World Resort is roughly the size of the city of San Francisco? With four theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney Springs, over 25 Resort Hotel properties, and more, this massive world is bursting with magic to be enjoyed, memories to be made, and adventures to be had.

For my crew, staying inside the magic at a Disney Resort Hotel is part of the fun. Just like with the magical resorts in Disneyland, you'll find extraordinary attention to detail, each unique, in all of the resorts on property.

After having stayed at all three categories, Value, Moderate, and Deluxe, I can tell you they each have something great to offer! My crew's favorite happens to be a value resort. Perfect for young families, Disney's Art of Animation is an artist's dream come true. With larger-than-life characters adorning the buildings, your kids will be in awe! And with all the Disney amenities you can expect, mom and dad will enjoy it just as much. Our favorite moderate resort is Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. This quaint and beautiful hotel brings the fun of Mardi Gras to the magic of Disney. Lastly, when it comes to deluxe resorts, you can't go wrong with any of them! From quick and easy access to the theme parks, especially from the monorail resorts, to spectacular recreation areas, fine dining, and all the luxury amenities, they are worth the splurge!

Be sure to spend some time browsing the site and comparing all the recreation and amenity options so you can find your ideal resort hotel. And if you can't pick just one, don't! Make it a split stay and enjoy even more of the magic.

Have fun dreaming and planning your visit. And don't hesitate to bring us any additional questions! See ya real soon!
