In your experience where should we sit to watch the Walt Disney animatronic, up close or farther away? Any tips on what time of day to see it?

Magical greetings, Rosalie! Thanks for stopping by with another great question. It appears you have a very magical adventure coming up! I love that you want to experience one of the newest offerings at the Disneyland Resort during your trip, so let's get to answering.

I was able to see "Walt Disney - A Magical Life" in Disneyland Park just a couple of weeks ago. I liked seeing the whole stage, and suggest sitting in the middle rows. The Walt Disney animatronic is so lifelike, and I loved seeing its full movement. It felt like a live episode of "The Wonderful World of Disney," and I hope it touches your heart like it did mine! It was inspirational and, I felt, an awesome tribute to Walt Disney and his dream to make the world a more magical place.

Fortunately, there is no longer a Virtual Queue for this show, and you should have no problem seeing "A Magical Life" whenever you would like. Rosalie, be sure to enjoy the foyer of the Main Street Opera House, where there are exhibits celebrating Disneyland's history and past milestone celebrations. There were even some animatronics from Tiki Room and "it's a small world" that can be viewed up close! I could spend an hour just looking around there.

Also, be sure to experience the last verse of the Sherman brothers' famous song in "it's a small world." I think it might be my favorite addition for the 70th Anniversary Celebration! You can even watch a short documentary, The Last Verse, about this new addition in the Main Street Cinema (just a few doors down from the Opera House).

Rosalie, I hope you have a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions on snacks, rides, or entertainment, please visit me again. I would be happy to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
