Hey there Kristen, and the warmest wedding welcome to planDisney!
There's just something really special about taking your relationship to a higher level and choosing to get hitched high above
Disney Springs! It's important to note that getting married here is not currently an offering booked through
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, which also means that you'll be required to book this through
Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight to find out the availability and most up-to-date pricing for the date that you're looking for! In the meantime, based on my research, here are a few details that I could find about saying "I do" in a soaring ceremony:
- The Aéro30 has a capacity for 29 people plus its pilot, and according to the Aerophile website a ceremony booking here includes a licensed officiant as well as photography that comes with your experience lasting up to 30 minutes. (Offerings may be subject to change without prior notice, but there also appear to be options to add on to this package.)
One of the biggest considerations that we had when
we planned our Disney Wedding last year was weather-proofing our venues as much as possible, so bear in mind that balloon flights may not take place "during a storm or if winds exceed 22 mph." If you're considering options for a meal to celebrate your nuptials, there are a number of
Disney Springs dining locations that may be able to accommodate group bookings and even the possibility for private event menus!
Don't hesitate to come back to us here at planDisney for any more insight or ideas for wedding events - but it's always a great idea to get inspired by other couples on the
Ever After Blog and the Disney Wedding Podcast just in case you might end up feeling like having some of those
experiences exclusive to Disney Fairy Tale Weddings like having characters show up for the occasion!
Here's to taking your love story to new heights!
