I want to experience dining in a castle. I will be traveling with my brother and my 9 year old son. Would you recommend booking Dinner at Be Our Guest or do you feel Lunch would be enough to fill my wish? I'm worried it might be painful for the boys

    Hi Keana,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! As a fellow boy mom, I completely understand wanting to indulge in your “Princess” side during a visit to Walt Disney World Resort… while trying to minimize the eye rolling from the “cool dudes” who are travelling with you.

That being said, my son (who is six years old) has actually really enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant, so I would recommend either meal, with a slight preference for dinner because the food is truly delicious. I doubt that there will be any eye rolling if you get seated in the West Wing, because it’s an amazingly detailed reproduction of the Beast’s abode in Beauty and the Beast… complete with thunder and lightning effects!

I hope my answer helps grant your wish to dine in a castle during your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
