    When is it expected for extra magic hours to come back for Onsite resort guests?

    Hello Samantha! Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you're planning on staying onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel! Excellent choice! The great thing about Disney Resort Hotels is that there are so many from which you can choose! From the relaxing beach side resort of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to the romantic charm of Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter to the explosion of color and beloved characters at Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

    Extra Magic Hours is a benefit offered to Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. I am a huge fan of this perk! Extra Magic Hours is temporarily suspended as the Disney Parks continue their phased reopening of the magic we all love! At this time, there are not any new announcements regarding a return date for Extra Magic Hours. I encourage you to check the Disney Parks Blog frequently as any news about a return to this benefit could be revealed there.

    Samantha, one reason I loved Extra Magic Hours was because it allowed us to enjoy the parks with reduced crowds. The good news is with physical distancing practices in place the crowds are significantly smaller than in the past. Guests are commenting about the pleasant experiences they are having with parks not being nearly as crowded. Less crowds also means reduced wait times for attractions!
