How much can I expect to pay for the mandatory 18% gratuity for 5 adults, 1 child and 1 infant at Chef's Mickey's. If I figure correctly this is over 100 dollars. When people who would have only 5 adults would often not leave this

    Hi, Debra!

While prices are subject to change, on the high end dinner at Chef Mickey's will be about $52 per adult, and $25 per child age 3 - 9. (Children under age 3 are not charged at buffets or all-you-care-to-eat locations.)  This total comes to approximately $300 (not including any additions of alcoholic or specialty beverages). An 18% gratuity on this comes to about $54.

I think you will find that the servers at Disney restaurants go above and beyond and truly work to make your meals magical. If for ANY reason your expectations have not been met, please ask for the manager to discuss any shortcomings.

If you plan to dine at Chef Mickey's, make sure to make your dining reservations as this a popular location that books up quickly. Have a wonderful time and say "HI" to Mickey and all his pals for me!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
