    What can we expect to be open in the new fantasyland in early December 2012? Will either of the new castles be done?

    Hi Rhonda! I am also planning a December Disney vacation with my grandchildren and we are all excited about the new Fantasyland expansion.  There are some things that have opened and other things they hope to have opened by the holidays. Of course they don't designate what they mean by dates for the holidays and from the past we know that can mean anywhere from November through December.

    Right now you can enjoy the new Casey Jr. Splash and Soak Station as well as the dueling Dumbos and the Great Goofini roller coaster where Toontown used to be. Hoping to be open for the holidays includes the Be Our Guest restaurant, Gaston's Tavern, Ariels Grotto, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster won't open until 2014.

    Keeping our fingers crossed for as much as possible to be experienced in December!
