When can I expect luggage tags to be delivered to me?

    Ahoy there, Charles!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you prepare to set sail aboard Disney Cruise Line. Can you believe that in less than two weeks you'll be headed beyond the reef and into the magic? I'm sure you've got cruise-its and whats-its galore and are ready to begin packing, so let's dive in to the details of luggage tags!

Disney Cruise Line luggage tags typically arrive between one and three weeks before sailing, but even miracles take a little time, so there are occasional delays in the shipping process. If you don't receive your luggage tags before you depart, Charles, Hakuna Matata! I'm happy to report that Disney Cruise Line has you covered, and there will be porters at the dock with luggage tags available to transport your bags onto the ship.

You'll board the ship separately from your luggage, Charles, but it will magically appear outside of your stateroom within just a few hours. Because you won't have access to your luggage immediately after you board, I suggest packing a carry-on bag of embarkation day essentials such as cruise documents, passports, necessary medication, and phone chargers. I also typically toss in sunscreen, a swimsuit, and a book so that I can enter vacation mode as soon as I'm on board.

I hope this information is helpful, Charles, and that your luggage tags arrive real soon. If you need any additional assistance as that adorable countdown in your Disney Cruiseline Navigator app approaches zero, you're welcome to stop back by planDisney. We're always happy to help!
