What can we expect to happen at Chip n Dales campfire sing-a-long? How long might we spend there?

Hi Jill! This must be the day for Chip and Dale as I just had another question referring to this great event!

This is a fun outdoor activity held at Fort Wilderness every night as long as the weather cooperates. The times change during the different seasons and length of the day so make sure you check the current time for this Singalong on the night you are hoping to attend.  There is not a cost for this but if you wish to cook some marshmallows you will have the opportunity to bring your own or purchase those as well as sticks.  I of course need the chocolate and graham crackers to make s'mores so I bring those as well!

About thirty minutes before the show begins the cast members will start two large campfires where the guests are welcome to roast their marshmallows.  Then there will be about a thirty minute show featuring a musician and most often Chip and Dale. There will be dancing and fun during that time by all the guests. When this musical show  is over you are welcome to stay for the Disney feature length movie that will be shown on a large screen outdoors.  On a wonderful clear night there is nothing like it to be outdoors enjoying this activity. Be prepared and bring some bug screen although Disney does spray before the shows to keep the insect population to a minimum at that location.

You can spend anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours depending on how much time you want to roast your marshmallows or see the movie.

If you are coming from the front of the park you will need to catch the orange loop internal bus to the campfire location. If you are coming by boat it is a nice 10 minute walk or you can also catch the orange bus.  Hope you can fit this into your plans as it is definitely something different to experience while at Walt Disney World!
