When can I expect my disney bracelets to come in the mail?

Hey there, Patrick! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your trip to the most magical place on earth is only a little over a week away. I bet you are getting so excited.

Patrick, depending on when you booked your Walt Disney World vacation, you may or may not be receiving MagicBands in the mail. At the start of this year, Disney actually discontinued sending out complimentary ones to Guests booking new reservations because so much can now be done on the MyDisneyExperience app. If you booked your Walt Disney World vacation before the change and customized your MagicBands free of charge, I would think they would have arrived by now. After the first of this year, when MagicBands became no longer complimentary, there should have been an option for you to upgrade your package to include specialty MagicBands at a discounted rate. If you selected those it can take up to 11 days for fulfillment and shipping. You need not worry, but if your MagicBands still haven't arrived within 6 days of your Walt Disney World vacation, you can call the MagicBand help hotline at (407) 939-4357 and a Cast Member will assist you. If your MagicBands are not going to arrive in time, you will be given new MagicBands or a card when you arrive to use during your vacation. If you have MagicBands from a previous trip, you are more than welcome to reuse those as well.

MagicBands really aren't necessary for your Walt Disney World vacation anymore so if they don't arrive in time, don't sweat it. Before your vacation, I highly recommend downloading the MyDisneyExperience app to your smartphone. From the app, you'll actually receive all of your resort stay information like maps to help you navigate the resort and a restaurant guide. When your room is ready, your room number will be sent to you and you can even unlock your door using the MyDisneyExperience app. It's really cool! Also, you'll notice most quick-service dining locations throughout Walt Disney World are currently only accepting mobile orders at this time to help promote physical distancing. From the app, you'll be able to select a restaurant, view and customize your order and even pay when you are ready to eat. The only thing the app currently cannot do is scan you into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. This is an easy fix though. When you arrive, all you have to do is stop by the front desk at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and grab a Keys to the World Card. This will link to your tickets and you'll be able to use it to go into the parks. If you want to bypass your resort when you arrive and head straight to the parks, you can also stop at the ticket booths before you enter and they will be able to provide you with an admission card with your tickets linked to it.

Patrick, if you ordered MagicBands for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, I hope they arrive within the next few days. If they don't, don't forget to call and see what is going on. With or without them, I know you are going to have a fabulous vacation next week. If you have any other questions before your trip, I'd love for you to come back and ask me

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
