When should I expect to get our cabin number on a GTY room?

    Hi Evelyn,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

If I understand correctly, you’ve booked a “Guaranteed” (GTY) Stateroom for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation and you’re trying to figure out when you’ll know just where your stateroom will be.

I’ve booked rooms in this category before, so I completely understand where you’re coming from! My experience has been varied – for some cruises, I got my stateroom assignment 45 days in advance, and, for another sailing, I found out which room I was in when I arrived in port! Keep checking the My Reservations tab of the Disney Cruise Line website or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see whether your room has been assigned.

Once you get your stateroom number, don’t forget that you can check out the Deck Plans to figure out where you’ll be. That said, I’ve been all over every ship in the Disney fleet, and I can tell you that there really is no “bad” room onboard. After all – you’re on a cruise! Life is good, right?

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions, either before or after you get your room assignment. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
