    I have an existing resort package reservation. I would like to pick the MagicBand 2, but only see the original style MagicBands. How can I change my selection to the new style ?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We're always happy to help guests like you with your vacation plans.

    The new MagicBand 2 design has been in use since the first of the year. Even though the old design still is pictured on the website, it is my understanding that all guests are now receiving the new design. I've gotten two MagicBand deliveries since January 1 -- one containing my annual passholder MagicBand and one for a resort stay this weekend -- and both were the new design.

    So, Marvin, I believe as long as you pick your colors and whatever names you want inside each, you should be good to go with the MagicBand 2. I'm a fan of the new design. It feels flatter on my arm and more like a watch. I haven't yet tried removing the center disk to attach to a lanyard or carabiner, but it's great to have that option.
