Hi there, Luke!
It's always a pleasure to help a fellow American Mouseketeer plan their magical journey across the Pond. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!
As a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder myself, I can assure you that there's nothing like being able to pop in and out of the magic without worrying if your time spent in the theme park justifies the price of entry for the day. I've even been known to head into a theme park just to grab my favorite snack, so I think you'll love the freedom your
Disneyland Pass will allow during your time in France.
With this in mind, I have some great news for you, Luke! I just verified with a Disneyland Paris Cast Member that it is indeed currently possible to upgrade a Bronze Pass to either a Gold or Silver Pass. The process can conveniently be completed at the ticket counters near the entrance to Disneyland Park, where you'll be prompted to pay the difference in price between your original and new pass at the time of the upgrade. I also verified that this upgrade will not extend your pass. You will simply have access to the perks of your upgraded pass for the remainder of your original validity window.
Before choosing whether you'd like to become a Silver or Gold Passholder, I encourage you to
look at the benefits that come with each and decide which makes the most sense for your visit(s) and budget. While both options do include select discounts, the Gold Pass also features complimentary Disney Annual
PhotoPass and access to
Extra Magic Time. Personally, I love having the PhotoPass add-on (I can never have too many photos with Chip 'n' Dale), so that would be a huge incentive for me.
I hope this was helpful, Luke, and that you have an incredible time exploring Disneyland Paris! It's home to my very favorite iteration of
Big Thunder Mountain as well as the most incredible detail
lurking in the dungeons of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Be sure to check it out!
You're always welcome here at
