If an excursion booked through Disney cruise line is behind schedule, will the ship leave the Disney passengers and move on without them?

Ahoy there Katie, and welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by to ask your question. After spending 11 nights this past summer cruising on the Disney Dream and having an excursion that ran over an hour late, I can tell you Disney leaves no Guest behind.

Should your Disney Cruise Line-organized Port Adventure run late for whatever reason, Disney Cruise Line will either wait until you arrive or prepare complimentary transportation to get you to the next port of call. While the latter may not be ideal rest assured that Disney Cruise Line will take care of you while non-Disney shore excursions have no guarantees to get you back to the ship on time or, if running late, to your next port of call.

planDisney Pro Tip: I prefer the second dining seating because it gives me more time at the port to explore and be back at the ship for "All Aboard."

Katie, Captains Mickey and Minnie are ready to set sail with you and introduce you to a whole new world of adventure. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
