Welcome back to planDisney, Daniel! On behalf of all of us, I'm so excited to see you've brought another wonderful question our way, and thank you for thinking of planDisney as a vacation planning resource!
I can't think of a better place to ring in the New Year than at the 'Happiest Place on Earth,' can you? In fact, one of my very favorite family memories is racing around Disneyland Park with my teenage nieces and nephews trying to get on as many attractions in before the clock struck midnight. We just happened to walk off
Indiana Jones Adventure right at the moment the New Year's Eve firework spectacular started. I'll never forget exactly where I was standing in Adventureland when we rang in the New Year together, and I'm excited for you to make your own magical New Year memories with your loved ones!
Now, to your question about theme park reservations. I'm very glad to hear you've made your park reservations for December 31st as I suspect it will be a very popular holiday for many Guests. Indeed, a
valid admission ticket and park reservation are required for Guests to enter the theme parks, and theme park reservations are limited in number. Access to any theme park of the Disneyland Resort is subject to capacity and not guaranteed, so my best recommendation is to go ahead and enter the park as early as your time and plans allow. I'd also suggest considering if you need to leave the theme parks during the day because it is possible that capacity could be reached before you are able to re-enter later.
I hope these are some useful tips, Daniel. You're going to have an absolutely spectacular time this winter at Disneyland Resort and what a perfect opportunity to start the next year off with overwhelming magic! Be sure to check out the
seasonal offerings during the merriest time of year, and please feel welcome to
send us more questions along the way!
Magically yours,
Tishra
