We're so excited-leaving for WDW on May 4th- Question: On ME and on buses to parks, are we required to have our son in a booster? He's 5 and is required to be in one in CA. What about on the plane? If so, should we bring our own? Thx!- Love this panel!

For information about the requirements on the plane, you would need to contact your individual airline for complete rules. However, my experience on the carriers I have flown is that five-year-olds are not required to be in a booster seat. Again, please check with your airline about this.

As far as the Disney transportation goes. Neither car seats nor booster seats are required on the Magical Express and Disney transportation buses. These are not required by Florida law. Further, you would not be able to use a car seat or booster on the park buses as there are no seat belts with which to secure the car seats to the bus. If you are using only Disney transportation while you are at WDW, there would be no reason for you to bring a booster.
