    We are so excited to be at the World the day Galaxy’s Edge finally opens! We’ve never been to the opening of a new land before—any advice you can share? Especially advice for the best way to get there from a (non-walking) WDW resort as early as possible!!

    I feel the Force running strong in your family. Would you join the Resistance or pledge to allegiance to the First Order when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens later this summer?

    Wish I could join you for this grand opening, but it reminds me of the days of Star Wars Weekends. This is the only time I’ve ever “rope-dropped” a Theme Park (I prefer to close it down). Although Resort Transportation is the best way to travel throughout the Resort, and they start operating up to 45 minutes before Park opening, these kind of once in a lifetime events will have many Guests lining up much earlier. Hence a taxi or Uber/Lyft may be your only hope. You don't want to get there too late as I'm not sure Jedi mind tricks will let you move ahead. I suggest you stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements.

    One last tip: I would offer you my Tie Fighter, but it again has a bad hyperdrive motivator. Instead, why not travel in style with Minnie Van Service? May the Force be with you.
