Moms, I am so excited to be visiting Walt Disney World next month! One of the parks I've scheduled is Animal Kingdom. Can you tell me if Rafiki's Planet Watch will be open? Will they have the animation classes?

    Hi Rochelle,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There's lots of excitement in the air as Walt Disney World readies to welcome guests once again, and I know you must be so eager to make all of your plans.

I have good news for you: Though some experiences and attractions have been suspended as part of Walt Disney World's plans for a responsible reopening, The Animation Experience at Conservation Station, which is located at Rafiki's Planet Watch, is scheduled to be operating as usual. You will be able to create a sketch of a Disney character, while learning how animals inspire animators.

Of course, all experiences are subject to change based on conditions, so you will want to check the daily schedule. You can find the current list of available park experiences here.

Please note that you will need to make a reservation to enter Animal Kingdom and the other theme parks during your visit. If you haven't already, you can visit the Disney Park Pass System to make your daily reservations.

I hope that's helpful, Rochelle. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
